Lent Begins February 22 We have special services each Wednesday in Lent that focus on our Savior’s suffering and death for the sins of the world. This year we will examine special events that took place in Jerusalem during Jesus final week.
TORNADO MEMORIAL GARDEN IN THE JOPLIN GLOBE Faith Lutheran has dedicated a memorial garden honoring the Carthage victims of the May 22 tornado. The garden includes a large cross, flower bed and memorial benches along the middle of the Grand Avenue side of our facility.
NEW PIPE ORGAN Faith Lutheran Church is the proud new owner of a 36-rank German built, Werner Bosch tracker organ. Our organ is nearing completion, and will conclude with the organ’s re-voicing for our sanctuary and a dedication concert. This will be one of the finest and largest organs in the area.
